    This Level 2 Portable EV Charger does a solid job. My daughter rented an electric vehicle during her current visit. She had done it before and ended up spending plenty of time and money getting it charged. She has saved more money in the past week than the entire cost of this charger. She was on the go, meeting up with friends all over a three-county area. Each night she plugged it in and could go the next morning with a full charge. It's compatible with all SAE J1772 vehicles, so it fits a wide range of EVs, but Tesla owners will need an adapter.
    The 25-foot cable is a real convenience, reaching easily where she parks. Plugging it into a 220V or 240V outlet is straightforward, no hassle at all. I appreciate the charger's compact design, making it unobtrusive in my garage. Safety features like overheating, overcurrent, and lightning protection give me peace of mind that it's charging safely. It's built sturdy and feels like it's going to last. Overall, for its price, it's a great value. It does exactly what it's supposed to do without any fuss.

    A good heavy duty charging cord

    This charging cord seems to be well made and is fairly heavy duty. I like that it is adjustable as to the amps that it charges with and you can set the length of time it will charge or just set it to remain on. It is fairly easy to use but it did take a little bit of time to figure out how to use the single touch button to adjust and set the various settings.
    The cord plugged easily into my Chev volt's port and did not seem to get warm at all charging at the maximum watts for my Volt.
    The only thing that could be better is there is no strain relief on the end where the plug end is nor where the cord goes into and out of the controller. Better quality cords generally have these so that is why I removed one star.

    The ZiopGTob brand name might be impossible to pronounce, but they definitely have a decent portable EV charger. For the price point and with the listed specs you know you're not getting anything fancy but it's a handy thing to have in the trunk of your car. It's very portable (5.5 pounds) and easy to tote around. It also has a 25 foot charging cable. That's something that you won't find in many higher end chargers and very helpful for a portable unit. It can stand up to the elements outside and has all of the protections you need against overvoltage, overheat, overcurrent, etc. No matter how the ZiopGTob brand name is pronounced this is a very solid portable EV charger for the price point. Recommended!

    This is an excellent quality level 2 charger.

    It delivers about 3600 watts of power, but unlike my level 1 charger and 1.6kw (1600w), you can't just plug it into any electrical outlet. You need a specific NEMA 10-30 I believe. If I recall, this is like an RV plug, or appliance plug outlet? I'm not totally sure actually but they're common in RV parks and mobile home parks.

    Awesome charger and I keep both, Level 1 and Level 2 in my car.
