Installed this after I purchased a Chevy Silverado EV WT 2024 model. My truck can handle higher charge rates so… I looked at what I could install at my home for a reasonable price. This does increments up to 80amps (which is nice). You can choose other increments of charge amps as needed/desired… just be sure to have a dedicated install and breaker for it. I did have a professional electrician install it and run the dedicated amp-handling line (which had to be in PVC in my attic) to my garage. Understand… this is pulling 80amps at most so… make sure your breakers, etc can handle it. As a note, a normal house has about 200amps coming to it (anything beyond that is not typical). Read the warnings about coiling the line while charging… and closing your garage door on the line… those are both "not recommended" due to the heat build-up of the charge (esp 80amps). I have used it for over 2 weeks now with no issues. I charge every night. This thing rocks on charging but "know" your vehicle and what it can take, etc. Also note, this requires a ground that is on the main breaker… if you have a dispersed system… ensure the common ground is on the main breaker or this charger will NOT work. Instructions and support were good.. no issues.
